Service Agreement and Legal Terms for Gene2Rx Pharmacogenetics Testing Website and Mobile Application
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Gene2Rx website (the "Website"), the Gene2Rx iOS mobile application (the "App"), and all associated software and services (collectively, the "Service"). Through the use of the Service, certain information may be collected that is personal in nature. We recognize and respect the need to take care when handling your personal information. Your genetic data is encrypted on our servers to protect your privacy. However, while we take security seriously there are no guarantees a data breach will not occur.
On the Website, we do log IP addresses, login times, operating systems and browser software. We analyze this data in aggregate to determine traffic patterns and optimize web page design. This data does not contain your name or your email address. We may provide this anonymized log data to third parties such as advertisers, potential licensors, and other business associates. The App does not use third-party analytics or tracking services.

Data Security: Your genetic information is encrypted and stored securely on our servers. Authentication tokens in the App are stored in the iOS Keychain. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal and genetic data.

Important Notice: As a user of the Service, you understand that your results may differ from the example reports due to report results being calculated based on the genetic data you provide.
We do not issue refunds based on customer requests once reports have been generated and made available. We provide example reports so that users are aware of what genes, guidance, and medications will be included in the report they receive.

For purchases made through the App via Apple's App Store, refund requests must be submitted directly to Apple. Gene2Rx does not have the ability to process refunds for App Store transactions.
DO NOT ALTER YOUR MEDICATION OR DOSAGE OR STOP YOUR MEDICATION WITHOUT FIRST CONSULTING YOUR HEALTHCARE PROVIDER. Direct-to-consumer genetic data is not clinical grade, so anything included in the report or displayed in the App should be used as a conversation starter with your healthcare provider to seek the appropriate clinical laboratory test.
Again, do not alter your medication dosage or stop taking your medication without first consulting your healthcare provider. Our reports and the information displayed in the App are for informational purposes only and should not replace professional medical advice. Drug interaction checks, medication tracking, and symptom logging features in the App are provided for personal informational use and do not constitute medical advice.
Gene2Rx does not condone the use or abuse of any prescription, over-the-counter, or illicit substances. Use of the Service, including the Website and the App, and interpretations of results is at your own risk.
Visitors and customers will assume all risk for using the Service, including but not limited to, unsupported or unreplicated research or medical data and information, and/or any other foreseen or unforeseen possibility.
Users who access the Service agree to indemnify and hold harmless GENOME ANALYTICS L.L.C. and other related entities, including our programmers and editors, for any and all damages arising from the use of the Service, including the Website, the App, and related software.
